Level 4 - Door Security Procedures
Amongst the most popular of security training courses, this Door Security Procedures qualification provides an excellent foundation for work, as it satisfies the minimum training requirements, determined by the Private Security Authority, for the licensing of individuals working with the Door Security Sector of the security industry. Following successful completion of the programme, learners may apply for licensing under the Door Supervisor (licensed premises) Licence category. This programme leads to the FETAC Level 4 Certificate, C10267- Door Security Procedures.

Programme Aims
The aim of the Door Security Procedures programme is to provide learners with an introductory understanding of practical door security duties and procedures. Learners will:
- Be familiar with the duties and responsibilities of Door Security Personnel
- Be aware of the legal codes which apply
- Understand what constitutes an emergency and the recommend responses to an emergency
- Develop and apply relevant communication skills

Programme Duration
Oysters Door Security Procedures programme course has been designed to run over 2 days, 8 hours each day.
Programme Certification
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a FETAC Level 4, C10267, Door Security Procedures Certificate.
Entry Requirements
No previous experience is necessary.
All students attending the course must have with them:
- PPS number.
- Two recent personal passport size photographs. (These photographs have been taken within the last twelve months and must be signed on the back)
- Identification (Drivers Licence, Passport, Social Welfare Services Card)
Assessment
To achieve certification learners will undertake skills demonstrations and assignments and complete a written examination, A True/False question format is used for this examination.
