Oyster believes passionately in the potential of people and the efficacy of coaching in unlocking this potential. Coaching is education in its most pure sense, its purpose being to educe, or draw out, the skills, talents, knowledge and resourcefulness underdeveloped or underutilised in individuals or organisations and to apply these competencies to make advantageous change to both personal and working lives.
While committed to using best coaching practice and tried and tested coaching methodologies, Oyster understands that one model does not fit all, even when coaching is for a number of executives in the same organisation. Therefore, all coaching engagements are customised to fit the needs of each coachee. For organisations, coaching is personally customised “on-the-job” education, capable of minimising the down time of off site training.

Oyster Consulting Services focus on enabling organisations to design, develop and implement effective training curricula that are fully integrated with organisation strategy. Oyster believes that strategy-aligned training initiatives are key to achieving organisation wide alignment, sustainability and longevity, and regardless of size of organisation or industry sector, such training initiatives can have a positive effect on staff motivation and performance and a measurable impact on your bottom line.
Oyster advocates a skills based, experiential approach to training and recommends integrating work based practice and coaching techniques into organisational programmes.
